STEPPING THROUGH THE SOUL GATEWAYS
A five-year journey starts with a single step! My last one began in 2012. Now I am thrilled to announce the outcome: my second book, ‘The Dreaming Doors’, is now published! This edition depicts a photographic and poetic journey featuring doors in old towns across Europe. I love old, rustic doors – and I was always intrigued by the wonderful stories they might share with us. The book also offers insight into my own soul journey and transformation during a 5-year period.
The Dreaming Doors (Uneksivat ovet) includes 40 pages of beautiful, high-quality and unique graphic designs, including paintings and poems from the featured Irish talent: Caroline Cunningham.
You will find also Finnish poems in this edition. As some of you may remember, J.R.R. Tolkien was very fond of the Norse Mythology, and especially Finnish language. He used it as a basis for creating the Elven language. Finnish epics like Kalevala’s Kullervo played a role in his creative process for Silmarillion. I wanted my book to stay in line with my previous one with the Finnish mythological touch.
