Happy Easter! After cold and dark – hope arrives

Happy Easter to all of The Digital Teacup followers!

It has been an eventful season, and the weather in Finland keeps giving us surprises each day. Today was beautiful and sunny. During the weekend we spotted some snowflakes again. But our bicycles are out and we’re getting on the road again. (Well, of course, some of the brave Finns never stopped cycling – the tires just got a whole lot bigger!)

My sincerest thanks to all of the positive feedback I have received lately! It lifts my heart and soul. Authenticity is a difficult virtue to keep alive these days in media and social media. The two are now intertwined and influenced by various open and hidden agendas. This site was born because of you, my peers and friends, giving me the spark. Asking me to share more of my thoughts and photographs online. I am happy that I signed up for this blog site after having had my main site closed down for several years. (I closed my company back in 2011.)

After some years, I turned back into writing and designing as I really could not live without these sources of inspiration. And as I have stated before – leadership follows creativity. Eventually, my day job reformed around my creative initiatives. It did not happen over-night – people found value in the creative investments I made. It is a very fulfilling feeling when you get to work with people on programs you are most passionate about.

In order to learn, I joined groups and networks. Nowadays, I have the challenge to keep up with all the social platforms I am involved in. However, I am always expanding my thoughts here on The Digital Teacup. This is my little corner of the world where I can share inspiration and stay genuine to who I am. Even if that means going ‘off-brand’ every now and then.

This is all about the journey of one person somewhere in the borders of our Northern hemisphere who has the opportunity to work with people across the globe every day. For that I am grateful.

I draw energy and inspiration from genuine relationships and nature is one of them. The ultimate friend and champion who provides for us every day.

With Happy Easter Wishes and thanks to all of you visiting my site!

And special thank you to @BizCatalyst360 and @NGAGE CAFÉ for the wonderful collaboration and networking experience. (P.s. click the link if you are interested in joining our coffee corner 🙂 )

To the Thawing Wind

Robert Frost1874 – 1963

Come with rain, O loud Southwester!
Bring the singer, bring the nester;
Give the buried flower a dream;
Make the settled snowbank steam;
Find the brown beneath the white;
But whate’er you do tonight,
Bathe my window, make it flow,
Melt it as the ice will go;
Melt the glass and leave the sticks
Like a hermit’s crucifix;
Burst into my narrow stall;
Swing the picture on the wall;
Run the rattling pages o’er;
Scatter poems on the floor;
Turn the poet out of door.

Best Wishes,

Maria
